Infinity Memorial Systems™ Columbaria

Infinity Memorial Systems of the Midwest™ can help you plan, install and efficiently operate a columbarium that meets your specific design, space and financial requirements.  Our product's modular design and numerous colors and finishes for the product and memorial plates provides tremendous flexibility when designing a columbarium.  Currently, most columbaria designs fall into three categories, encased or clad, walls or open base.

Encased or Clad Columbaria

This design places the niches into a free standing structure or existing wall. To allow for future need, these tend to be larger projects and often involve architects, since the columbarium is a part of a larger project. This courtyard columbarium has 108 niches on each side totaling 432 niches.

Encased or Clad Columbaria

This columbarium contains 36 niches and matches the other structures in the cemetery.

Columbarium Walls

Many designs now are creating columbarium walls.  There are numerous designs of different walls, but there are two main types, inserts or open.  The insert design builds the wall around the niches or leaves openings in the middle of the wall where the niche may be inserted.  The open design constructs the wall with periodic open top sections.  The niches are placed in these openings as needed.  In the meantime, planters with flowers decorate these openings.

Open Base Expandable

The first phase of this columbarium with 36 niches was just installed on a poured concrete base that will be clad with limestone. When completed, this columbarium will contain 216 niches.

Open Base Columbaria

Another popular design is the open base design.  This design constructs a foundation and sometimes a base in the first phase of the project.  Niches are added in phases to the base, both horizontally and vertically.  This design matches the niche capacity to current need and expands as the need grows.  This design is popular for self funding columbarium projects and where budgets are tight.
